I had the opportunity to create a logo for Code For Chico - a local chapter of Code for America - that would represent the organization and the community’s values. To achieve this, I drew inspiration from the iconic "Our Hands" sculpture located outside of downtown City Hall, and incorporated its design elements into the logo using code brackets as a design motif, which mirrored the mosaic tile work found on the sculpture which created a cohesive and visually appealing design. The final result was a unique and recognizable logo that represented Code For Chico and its commitment to bridging the gap between technology and making a difference in your community.
