Stained Glass

Stained glass illustration is another of my favorite mediums to create for licensed art. I often take a reference or style guide image and plan out the glass as if I might actually prepare a sketch for it in real glass and then choose the color pallet and start coloring. I think this process gives the design the best believability.

Anjani was traced from a reference photo, but all the line work, shapes were decided by me.

Wednesday traced from reference photos, hand drawn line work, color story fills and texture added.

Eye of the Beholder, Stoop Kid and Edward Scissor Hands were all completely hand drawn by me using only reference.
